Warrington Campus of Chester University - Media (Radio Production)
| At the Warrington Campus we initially installed a networked audio training system in the Radio Production department, consisting of a set of audio workstations linked to "live-assist" software installed on playout computers in the training studio.
As the highly regarded radio production courses expanded, we were pleased to be involved in the planning and installation of a second suite of workstations linked to re-modelled dual studios, featuring a full range of facilities for "manual", "live assist" and "fully automated" radio programme production training. As part of their course work the students produce and originate regular weekly programmes on a local commercial radio station using these facilities as well as running a round the clock campus radio station (1251kHz mf.).
Course Leader David Grimshaw ...
... "Ever since we moved to digital, we have found ABT to be an excellent source of supply and advice on all aspects of our radio operations. They have a good understanding of the sometimes conflicting requirements of broadcasting and education. We are very pleased with the work they've done for us and have no hesitation in recommending them."
